Farmers will have an easier time getting their harvest to market this fall. Weight limits for loads on Iowa roads were lifted for 60 days by proclamation on October 1. This proclamation allows vehicles transporting soybeans, corn, hay, straw, silage and stover to be overweight (not exceeding 90,000 pounds gross weight) without a permit.
